Fabergé is a son of For Pleasure, a national show jumping champion of Germany and a member of the gold medal German Teams at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics. He also carries the blood of G-line greats Grannus, Grande, and Gotthard as well as that of the great Anglo-Norman stallion Furioso II.

His Dam, St.Pr.St. Eskalade, produced four colts, three of whom became licensed Hanoverian stallions. Her lineage includes such familiar names as Absatz, Argentan, Weiler and the thoroughbreds Hyperion, Ecuador, Adlerschild and Waidmannsdank.
